Privacy Policy for PredX

This Privacy Policy explains how PredX, a Chrome extension and related services operated by PredX, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the PredX browser extension and related services.

By using PredX, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. What PredX Does

PredX is a Chrome extension that helps users discover relevant market context while viewing public posts on X. To provide this functionality, PredX analyzes supported page content and surfaces related context and references inside the browser experience.

2. Information We Collect

a. Page Content and Browsing Context

When you use PredX on supported pages, PredX may access the active tab, page URL, and relevant public page content needed to provide its matching and discovery features.

b. Information Sent to AI Models

PredX sends relevant page content and related context data to AI models in order to analyze content and generate matching or discovery results. PredX currently uses AI services including OpenAI, Grok, and Gemini.

c. Extension Preferences and Local Storage

PredX uses Chrome storage to save extension settings and preferences locally in the browser.

d. Wallet Information

If you connect a wallet to PredX, PredX may access and process your public wallet address in order to support wallet-connected features. PredX may support connections with mainstream wallets such as MetaMask, OKX Wallet, Binance Wallet, and similar wallet providers. PredX does not collect or store private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords.

e. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

Except as described in this Privacy Policy, PredX does not intentionally collect or store:

• private messages or direct messages
• account passwords
• private wallet keys or seed phrases
• payment card information
• personal contacts
• precise geolocation data

3. How We Use Information

PredX uses information only as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the extension’s core functionality. This includes using information to:

• analyze supported public page content
• match viewed content to relevant market context
• display related context, references, or results
• store and apply extension preferences
• support wallet-connected features using the user’s public wallet address
• maintain extension functionality and basic service operations

PredX does not use user data for advertising, profiling for advertising, or selling user data to third parties.

4. How Data Is Processed

PredX uses server-assisted processing. Relevant supported page content and related context data may be transmitted to AI service providers, including OpenAI, Grok, and Gemini, to generate matching or discovery results.

PredX also stores user preferences locally through Chrome’s storage functionality.

If a wallet is connected, PredX may process the user’s public wallet address to enable wallet-related features.

5. Chrome Permissions Used

PredX currently uses the following Chrome permissions:

• storage — to save extension settings and preferences
• activeTab — to access the current supported page when the user interacts with the extension
• tabs — to identify and work with supported browser tabs
• scripting — to run extension scripts on supported pages in order to enable core functionality

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information or user data. We may share limited information only in the following situations:

a. AI and Service Providers

PredX may share relevant supported page content and related context data with AI service providers used to power its matching and discovery features, including OpenAI, Grok, and Gemini.

b. Wallet and Third-Party Services

If you choose to connect a wallet or interact with third-party services through PredX, relevant information such as your public wallet address may be processed in connection with those services.

c. Legal and Security Reasons

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of PredX, its users, or others.

d. Business Transfers

If PredX is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, relevant information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

7. Data Retention

PredX retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

Extension settings stored through Chrome storage remain in the user’s browser until cleared by the user or until the extension is removed.

PredX may also retain limited operational or security-related records for a reasonable period as necessary to maintain the service.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by PredX. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices

You may control or limit data processing by:

• disabling or removing the PredX extension
• clearing extension data stored in Chrome
• disconnecting your wallet from supported wallet-connected features
• stopping use of supported pages with the extension enabled

10. Children’s Privacy

PredX is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Future Service Domains

PredX does not currently rely on a public service domain for this extension workflow. In a future version (v1.1), PredX-related services may also operate through domains including predx.me and vishwanetwork.xyz.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
